Welcome to session 2 of our series, where we explore the key components of the SMART(ER) Business Network. Today, we shine a spotlight on the business community website, a crucial leg of the triad of sites that our esteemed members have access to. Prepare to be amazed by the wealth of features, invaluable information, and unparalleled support that await you in this dynamic online community.

 

At the heart of the business community website is a robust platform that operates similarly to a Facebook Group, but with a turbocharged twist. Here, distractions are minimized, and useful features take center stage. Whether you’re seeking industry-specific discussions or looking to connect with like-minded entrepreneurs, this platform provides a dedicated space for focused interactions and meaningful conversations.

 

Within the site, you’ll discover specialized groups that cater to specific subjects, allowing members to join and contribute to conversations that align with their interests and expertise.       We always appreciate it when our visitors take the time to leave us their thoughts or questions, It gives us the opportunity to provide more meat for other people who stop by. It fleshes things out and at the end of the day, everyone wins!

      Also, thanks for the kind words…I do try to add something of value with everything that we put together for members, as they are the reason we exist as a company. Our whole mission is to help them achieve success with their businesses.

      Without a plan, and one that is uniquely tailored to the member who prepares it, the chances of success are much lower from the data we have seen. Our mission is to help members design and then implement something that will work, as it has been thoroughly thought through.

      Because things are changing all the time, after they have a plan and are starting to get it from paper into reality, we also know they will need additional skills, ideas, tips, and advice. That is why we also provide things such as daily motivational content, daily emails, weekly newsletters, new training, etc. regularly. 

      The community is where much of all this takes place, and it is a safe environment that is also open enough to allow ideas and suggestions to flow with few restrictions. It is conducive for lots of good things to happen. It is private and exclusive, but free to join, as a SMART(ER) Business Network member or not.

      Our attitude is that many who may not be members now will be later as they see the value that membership brings. They do need to make a commitment by registering, and then being active, however. Unless it is used, it has no use. 

      Do check it out when you have time, and register too! It takes 5 minutes, and it might be the best 5 minutes of your day ever!

      Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to drop some feedback in the comment section. This helps us provide more of what members need for their business development efforts. We are in the process of migrating members of Facebook Groups, another community site (the old one), and adding new members through posts such as this one.

      As the community grows, so will all the actions and results that you mention in your comment. There is no doubt that having a central location where like-minded people can gather and discuss with fewer distractions as you find on social platforms is helpful for entrepreneurs.

      One of the reasons that we went for a separate website that we control almost 100% is that we are not constricted as is the case with social platforms. I have seen many entrepreneurs get burned as thousands of hours of work and content are arbitrarily deleted by owners of the big platforms.

      When the community is combined with the many other features of the network, we feel that members can be unstoppable in their quest for success. Our mission is to provide everything they may need to the maximum extent possible for that to happen.

Having read your latest post and viewed your video, I was impressed by your message to potential new SMART(ER) Business Network members about empowerment and maximizing of benefits with membership. It’s clear that the SMART(ER) Business network is dedicated to providing its members with valuable resources and support to help them succeed. The focus on the Business Community Website is particularly interesting. The description of it being a focused and productive space without distractions for entrepreneurs to connect and collaborate is compelling. 
    I appreciate the reference links provided, and looking forward to understanding your resource shop and platform more. 
    Coach Dave, my question would be: Do you offer a free period where you can assimilate into the community for a time before becoming a full-paid member? 

    1. Hi, John!

      Thanks for having a look at one of the episodes of the SMART(ER) Business Network Overview Series, first of all…We are always happy to see that people are finding them and it is a bonus when they take the time to provide feedback too.

      Access to the community is absolutely free! Simply registering and creating your personal page is all that is required. There will be areas that you may not gain access to, i.e. content for paid members, but much of it is free to see and leverage.

      The reason this is the case is that we do want people to get a feel for the network and features. The same goes for the training on the academy site. There are a total of 13 courses that are free to enroll in at absolutely no cost other than a name and email.

      The affiliate program is the same. You do not have to be a paying member to request approval to promote the network. Approval is automatic if you are a paying member, but it is simple to get approved as an unpaid member – simply tell us how you will promote the network and where (i.e. website, social platforms), etc.

      There is even a sample of the SMART(ER) AI staff members to play around with at no cost other than registration. We also have a 7-day free trial and again with that membership. only a name and email are required/ You are right that having people be able to see what they are getting will help.

      Thanks for stopping by and having a look at our SMART(ER) Business Network Overview Series episode, we are excited to get the word out to online marketers and entrepreneurs everywhere since no matter the business model they may be using or thinking about using, the network assets can be helpful.

      We also appreciate the fact that you have taken some time to drop comments and please do ask any questions you may have while providing feedback. That is useful for a couple of reasons: First, we can get more information out on details and secondly, we can also provide answers that people may find useful.

      For success stories, you can see from the academy pages that members and clients have seen increased traffic, more engagement, faster growth of subscriber lists using our list-building tactics/lessons, increased sales and profits, and being able to get more done using the SMART(ER) AI Staff members for the tasks they have as business owners/operators.

      In our own business, using the SMART(ER) AI Staff we have seen a remarkable increase in the output of content, including blog posts and videos, sales copy, and even graphics we use throughout our shops, academy, and support sites. 

      The experts have helped cut the time for planning, creating, and publishing this series. We have 20 versions of the content that is going to 20 different sites and social platforms and did it all in just a few days. Totaling over 1,000 pages of content and almost 300,000 words, this is something that would have taken my content team a few weeks to get done!

      These are the kinds of things we are sharing within the community too, so members can see the power they now have access to., Discussions between members mean helpful tips. advice and lessons learned can be shared. Although we are in the early stages of the transition, we are confident that as more members register and use the community for these purposes, the effectiveness of the community will continue to rise.

    What specific features or aspects of the SMART(ER) Business Community Website do you believe set it apart from other online business communities and make it particularly beneficial for entrepreneurs?

    1. Hi Demi!

      Thanks for stopping by, and also thanks for the question…

      I think there are a few things that set us apart from other community sites:

      (1) Less distractions – unlike social platform groups such as those found on Facebook, there are not a lot of other things going on that will pull you away from the main focus, which is helping one another to get a business in place, growing and scaling that business, and doing it in the shortest time possible.

      (2) Secondly, there are advantages to our community over others that may not be on Facebook even, that allow for direct conversations and even voice calls between members. This is easy to do, as the restrictions are fewer as to what can be posted. Of course, there remain some measures in place, as there will always be outliers that will abuse the features, unfortunately, so some safeguards remain.

      (3) The community also provides a means to get things done quicker, get answers faster, and for suggestions to be provided directly to the people that can make the changes without delay, or with less delay. There are a lot of platforms that I belong to where it seems no one is listening or even watching or checking once in a while.

      (4) Members can also announce their current and new offers that are to be found in the Member Offers Shop and get eyes on the offers. Many communities do not allow that. No links, no marketing, and although we do not want spam, there are no limitations such as not adding links to offers. Again on this, abusers will have their rights restricted, but hopefully, these instances will be few and far between

      (5) The community also offers the opportunity for JV agreements to take place, collaborative efforts for one project or another, guest posting, interviews, or anything where small teams might be better to attack a particularly vexing problem they all are having.

      These are just a few examples, but I do hope they give you an idea of the differences between the SMART Biz Community and others. Note we still are shifting people from our old site to this new one, so the total number of members will be much smaller until we get all shifted over. 

      As more are added, o shift,.these dynamics will become more and more pronounced. It is like a snowball effect, it all gets bigger and bigger over time as we get more and more people in and they get the word out to others and they join and do the same.

  6. When you start your business, you must dwell with like-minded people who want to evolve like you. You need to be surrounded by people who want the same thing that you want. You have many people who don’t encourage you when you become an entrepreneur; and when you have a solid community behind you, everything is possible…

      You are right on your point! This is why we created the community. So many people do not have anyone around them when they are trying to start a business. This allows members to commiserate with others who are starting on that same journey. I know that I would have liked to have had that type of support starting many years ago with my first business!

  7. The SMART business network provides their members with a fast range of features, suitable for beginners, as well as experienced marketers. It wants to mepower their members to grow and flourish. 

    I noticed in your headers that there are options for training and marketing. But what is the difference between online marketing training and online marketing education? Should one do the training before the education? Or other way round? I’d appreciate if you can please clarify.

      Thanks for the question! I use the terms interchangeably so there is no real difference. The topics covered determine what is involved, and of course, more importantly (or at least as important) is what you do with the information that is covered in the training,

      That is where the community, the SMART Team, myself, and other members come into play. We want people to implement the skills in planning, starting, growing, and scaling their businesses in real-time. That is when we see the eyes and faces light up.

      That is perhaps the difference in just a platform to teach subjects to people, Our mission is helping people take action to realize their dreams and gain the freedom that they may only have been dreaming about. Over the years, one thing that motivates me more than all the rest is seeing that, again and again…
