Yes, we think the daily updates will be considered useful by many of our members as we have queried a few times what they think, and all have indicated that it is a feature that they value and want to have to continue. It gives us a chance to provide up-to-the-minute information and updates they can use.
Things like special offers, updates to training, success announcements, member offers shop updates, affiliate updates, coaching & mentoring schedule changes, etc. We also provide these updates to free members and trial members as well.
Once they have registered within the academy, they will go onto our list and start getting these updates. They also will get other emails from us, for instance, if their referral upgrades to a paid plan, or if they have signed up for an email course, there will be a separate campaign series they get pertaining to that course.
Email is not dead, contrary to what you may read or have heard from vendors trying to sell their traffic solutions that have proven time and again to be less effective than email is. The open rates have gone down dramatically as people have become more discerning with their email accounts, but the ROI is still $42 for every $1 spent!

Thanks for popping through and taking the time to drop a comment. There will be plenty of times when members will be able to interact with me and the SMART Team in the 3 main platforms of the network (the academy, the community, and the member resource shop) beyond these daily email updates too….
For instance, those who may need extra support with questions or have access issues, etc. will be able to contact us through the 2 support sites we are building currently. These will become a tutorial, and a FAQ area; plus each site will have an assigned SMART(ER) AI Staff member helping current SMART Team members.
The one other location that many of the members may be interacting with us at is within the member offers shop. Those who want to use it as a hands-on OJT will find it useful to learn and do. They can create products or services and then list them.
Of course, they will then have a chance to experiment with the copy, the graphics, the pitch for a sales video perhaps if needed, etc. It is a good way to learn how to use those skills. We do teach them, but it is another matter to implement such skills.
The daily emails will allow us to build a relationship with members and provide a chance for them to take in the latest and greatest with a few paragraphs and links if they want to explore further. To avoid any delivery issues we will tailor the emails so readers have one location to head to for all the links we include.
